Meet Neelam

A little story, stitched with heart.

Hi, I’m Neelam. I’ve been crocheting since I was 11, but I discovered amigurumi in 2025. After spending time pattern testing, I began designing my own patterns in September 2025, starting with Poppy the Puppy. With my mentor’s generous help and encouragement, I’ve grown as a designer ever since.

Threadborne Treasures is an ode to my Mom, who would have been so happy to see this little creative world take shape. Every design is special to me—each one a treasure I hold close.

What I love most about crochet is that creativity has no limits. I’m inspired by the sweetness of plushies and the expressive little characters they become through the eyes I paint. Each pair of eyes gives a character its own way to show its personality.
